The ZS256+ Change Over Unit (COU) is designed specially for MPEG-2/4 video or audio codec operating on hot standby N+1 arrangements. Based on a modular concept, the standard 6RU rack system can be equipped with interfaces to handle multi-standards of video, audio and data applications.
The unique equipment design based on high performance relays architecture allows the user to have a loop thru function to prevent a total system collapse. This security risk management function will help to eliminate single point of failure conditions, thus preventing possible disastrous events during transmission period. The COU deployment will ensure that the operator have high system MTBF.
E3 Automatic Protection Switches (9345)
The Intelligent Telecom Automatic Protection Switches (APS) series are capable of making a clean switch between two inputs maintaining continuity synchronization for signals of E3 or DS-3 lines. It will prevent momentary malfunction of downstream equipment when cutting between two sources . Network operators will be able to increase the system MTBF and Quality of Service to their customers.
Redundancy switching will be initiated automatically upon detection of any Loss of Signal, Loss of Frame, BER and AIS event registration. Based on relay architecture type of switching, the unit allows a loop thru function in case of a total system collapse, thus eliminating single point of failure conditions.
E1/T1 Automatic Protection Switches (7109)
The Intelligent Telecom Automatic Protection Switches (APS) series are capable of making a clean switch between two inputs maintaining continuity synchronization for signals of T1 or E1 lines.
Horizon 1 to 8 Splitter (2106)
The 2106 modular splitters provide versatile cost efficient signal distribution for most networks and systems. The unit supports digital signals ranging from 0 to 270Mbits. The wide specifications of the 2106 splitters enable them to be used in any form of digital distribution in the telecom and broadcast networks.
With fully isolated input and output buffers, any fault prior to the input of the splitter such as grounding or impedance mismatching will have no effect on the output. An outstanding feature of this unit is that it is applicable for any kind of digital signal up to 270Mbit/s with no settings required.
